*Understanding of the term Cultural Worker has been shaped by Devyn Springer's writing on the topic referring to someone who is committed to principles of equity, diversity, representation and inclusion and is accountable to the idea of culture. We are not simply creating art for the sake of doing so, but have a moral obligation to use our artistic and linguistic talents in the service of equity, liberation and unity.
